Define the zones and uses
A living room, a meeting room and a reception area have different needs. Specify the rooms involved, the sources you use and the controls you want. For multiroom audio, identify which zones should work together and which should remain independent.
Integrate equipment into your space
Speaker and screen positions, cable routes, power supplies and visual requirements should be planned before installation. Existing equipment can be considered after checking its connections and condition. The network must also be assessed for connected sources.
Make the controls easy to understand
The aim is to provide controls suited to the people using each space: choosing a source, selecting a zone or adjusting the sound. Available functions depend on the equipment selected. Any home automation integration must be defined and checked individually.
