Start with usage, not just floor area

Workstations, connected devices and simultaneous usage determine part of your needs. Floors, partitions, technical locations and the internet connection also matter. Poor coverage and a slow connection are not necessarily the same problem.

Assess wired networking and Wi-Fi

Cabling, outlets, network equipment and access points form one system. In existing buildings, an inventory distinguishes reusable components from those needing an upgrade. For new builds, plans help anticipate routes and power requirements.

Organise access and operation

Specify staff, visitor and technical equipment needs. Usage separation, administration and access management should be studied for your context. The same speed in every room cannot be promised without assessing the environment and equipment.

Prepare a useful request

Specify the areas, approximate number of users, observed symptoms and available references. A floor plan showing current locations is particularly useful. Do not send passwords in a public request; they are not needed to explain your requirements to MK SMART.
